We're keen to have a friendly community at RetroCentral, so please feel free to introduce yourself on this thread. I'm Tezz Williams a.k.a. 'ToxieDogg', I'm from Liverpool and I'm a fan of gaming, movies and wrestling. I've been gaming since 1980, when my dad first bought home an Atari 2600 with a copy of Combat and Space Invaders and I've had a fair few emails and features printed on GameCentral on Teletext in the past. So who are you all and what makes you tick?

I'm Daniel. I messed up and made 2 accounts, 1 having a bad spell. I've played a few Retro Remakes over the last few days, the best being Target Renegade.

My name is Darren AKA DazzyB. Originally from York now living in London. In my spare time I'm a gaming fan and retro addict. I've owned many systems from the ZX81 through to the PS3. My fondest memories are from the Speccy (my first one was a 16K version with very wobbly RAM expansion) and i have a particular soft spot for the Sega Saturn (not sure why!) and am also a massive Amiga fan. For me this was probably the defining machine of it's era. I have a particular weakness for Beat em ups and racing games and also enjoy the occasional FPS Shooter. I also love RPG's but don't have the time to devote to them like i used to My other passion in life is cycling and I am a former pro mountain biker and road racer. Some of my fave retro games - Daily Thompson's Decathlon, Gauntlet, Golden Axe, Target Renegade, Test Drive II, Lotus III, Stunt Car Racer, Virtua Fighter II, Virtua Cop, FFVII, Gran Turismo 1, Quake III, Deus Ex, Medal of Honour, Neverwinter Nights, GTRII.

Hey guys. Here we go again, hey? Third time lucky, no doubt. Marcus Maloney here and I'm using my PSN tag marcusjae, so if you want to die or help me kill online drop us a PS3 line. My retro story begins with the mighty C64: still the highest selling PC of all time (IBM compatibles don't count apparently) and I take GREAT exception to Dazzy arguing the Amiga to be the defining console of it's time [insert obligatory smiley face]. OK, depends on where one draws a timeline. MY second machine, after staying loyal to the 64 to the very bitter end (SF2 ports etc), my next machine was the almost-as-mighty SNES. I think SF2 was the final straw. Gosh that SNES port was faithful. The N64 was next, followed by the PS2 and the rest is non-retro history. Throughout this period there was also a smattering of PC adventure gaming (and the mighty Baldur's Gate duo). All hail classic Sierra! I'm currently hanging to purchase Dragon Age which looks like Baldur's Gate on 3D steroids. Currently playing Killzone 2 multiplayer.
Next!

Oh, and if anyone can tell me how to get the PSN version of Toxie's XBOX id thingy, it will be greatly appreciated. I just noticed that it says Global Moderator under my name. Oh dear, does this mean I have to report students found wandering the halls in class time to Toxie? Distribute orange juice at lunch time perhaps?

Hey guys. Here we go again, hey? Third time lucky, no doubt. Kind of. Last time it was Andy's Retromaniacs, and then the rest of us trying to keep the leaky ship afloat after he jumped overboard and took the lifeboats with him. Now it's RetroCentral, so first time lucky we hope!! LMAO. ;D You've always been a mainstay of Retromaniacs, so it makes sense that you're regarded as a team member here, Daniel just needs to tell me which of the two accounts he's set up he wants to use so that I can 'mod' him up too. If you want a PSN thingy in your sig, you should be able to register here: au.playstation.com/(that's the official Australian Playstation Network site) then pull up your PSN details on screen, and it'll give you a bit of code to paste into your forum sigs. That's the way it works with Xbox 360 gamercards anyway. I haven't got a PS3 yet (hopefully early next year) so I haven't got a PSN ID I can try it with yet unfortunatly. Looks easy to do though, I've seen loads of people with them on the other forums I go on.
