Back in the days before we had this new fangled internet thing, we often had to amuse ourselves with board games. Does anyone have any particularly fond memories of any that they had? I remember that I used to have a game called 'I Vant To Bite Your Finger!'.... Basically, this game used to scare the absolute shit out of me as a child. The idea was that you would place The Count at the end of the board with his cape closed over, then you would turn the clock dial any number of spaces you wanted to move....if The Count's cape stayed closed, you could move your piece but if you got too greedy and turned the dial too much, then The Count's cape would fly open with a loud rattling sound. You would then have to put your finger into his mouth whilst another player pressed a lever on his back....sometimes nothing would happen, in which case you just waited for your next go, but if The Count 'bit' you (he had 2 red felt tips for teeth so it would show on your finger) then you had to go back to the start. Seriously, for ages, I was terrified of putting my finger in that thing's mouth, I was only 6 at the time and had already seen a couple of Christopher Lee movies by then...I kept thinking that real sharp fangs were going to appear and take my finger off! I'm pretty sure I had a nightmare about it at one point too That being said, I'd love to get hold of another one now and do a video review for the site Seems to go for about £25 on Ebay in good condition.

I remember that I used to have a game called 'I Vant To Bite Your Finger!'.... I had that as well....still got various bits stacked away in a cupboard somewhere... As for my favourite, it wasn't strictly a board game, but it was made by Waddingtons...It was a bit like Operation in that you had to remove things from something without setting off a noise... It was ..... Th e Purple People Eater!!
